Haze has made a few skill changes that may be important to know about when making your character.
⚒️ The Craft Armor, Trap, and Weapon skills have been removed. These crafts are covered via the Haze Crafting System.

Acrobatics (Formerly Tumble) | Used in several skill checks, and to avoid attacks of opportunity. Also can provide additional AC. | |
Animal Empathy | The primary skill used in most interactions with animals. Must have for the Animal Companion System | |
Concentration | Used to maintain a spell during an attack of opportunity or defensive casting. | |
(Disable / Set) Device | Used in the setting/disabling of traps and other devices, or used at request of DMs | |
Discipline | Used to resist against certain combat maneauvers like disarm, and knockdown. | |
Heal | Used in determining the amount of healing, and success with healing kits. Also can be used to determine cause of death or other DM requested events. | |
Hide / Move Silently | Used together to determine the success of your stealth checks. | |
Influence | Used to determine success/failure of most social interactions, as well as affects NPC shop prices. | |
Knowledge: (many) | Various knowledge skills, all have an impact on several mechanics of the server as well as during DM events. | |
Listen | Used to help counter Move Silently, as well as to overhear whispers and other events in-game. | |
Open Lock | Used with the Theft & Recovery system to gain access to chests and doors. | |
Parry | Allows use of the NWN parry mode, allowing you to parry a limited number of attacks per round. | |
Perform | Used for Bard Songs and used also with the Identity System | |
Pickpocket | Used with the Theft & Recovery to steal from other players and/or NPCs with DM Events | |
Search | Used to determine success in finding traps, loot, secret paths, and more. | |
Spellcraft | Used to identify spells cast and used in the Spellcraft System for Wizards & Sorcerers | |
Spot | Used to help counter Hide, as well as in examine nodes and other events in-game. | |
Survival | Used in Survival Crafting as well as to track anything that may have walked through an area (with DM help) | |
Taunt | Used to attempt to lower the AC and induce spell failure in an enemy target. | |
Use Magic Device | Used to bypass requirements for magic items, as well as during DM Events |
