Some classes and Subraces are locked behind the Eminence Reward System.
Haze does not support in any way, shape, or form, Custom Races, Subraces, or races from other universes. Basically if it's not a default NWN Race, and it's not a Subrace provided by Haze, it would require prior approval before being created. If you enter the world without approval with a custom race / subrace, you risk the chance of your character being deleted.
Some subrace choices will incur an ECL modifier.
ECL (Equivalent character level) adjusts the XP systems' treatment of your character, slowing XP gain without changing level-up requirements. For instance, a level 2 fighter with ECL+2 is treated as a level 4 for XP calculations, and rewards.
There are various playable Sub-races beyond the ones offered by Vanilla NWN. Each entry will detail the offered perks, a brief introduction to the race/subrace, and tips and expectations for roleplaying it. A newly created character can claim each subrace/race in the OOC area when interacting with our Modification Mirror. Subraces and races will only be revealed to you based on your selected race in the creation screen.
These were the stories of a restless people who long ago took to the seas and rivers in longboats, first to pillage and terrorize, then to settle. Yet there was an energy, a love of adventure, that sang from every page. Long into the night Liriel read, lighting candle after precious candle.
She’d never given much thought to humans, but these stories fascinated her. In these yellowed pages were tales of bold heroes, strange and fierce animals, mighty primitive gods, and a magic that was part and fabric of that distant land.

"In the twilight that cloaks the wood and the wake, therein walks the half-elf. Neither wholly of the forest's whispering calm nor entirely born of the human tempest, they are the embodiment of twilight itself—neither night nor day, but an exquisite melding of both. Their hearts beat to the rhythm of two worlds, finding solace in the harmony of diversity. To know them is to understand the beauty of the in-between, where magic meets muscle, and tradition meets innovation."

"Beneath the moon's stark glow and the shadow of craggy peaks, the half-orc stands, a testament to the enduring spirit of two worlds. Born from the ferocity of the orcish clans and the resilience of human kind, they stride the earth with a determination that is as unyielding as the mountains themselves. Their lives are a tapestry woven with threads of battle and peace, savagery and wisdom. In their eyes burns the fire of the untamed wilderness and the steady light of civilization. To stand beside a half-orc in battle is to feel the earth tremble and to know the true meaning of strength. They are the bridge between two worlds, embodying the raw power of nature and the indomitable will of humanity."

Of all the elven races, moon elves were the most impulsive, with a strong distaste for complacency or isolation. Moon elves longed to be on the road, traveling and exploring the untamed wilderness that lay between cities and nations. This extroverted quality was part of the reason why moon elves got along uncommonly well with other races and had concluded that the N'Tel'Quess were not necessarily as foolhardy or unworthy as their brethren might think. Moon elves, rather than feeling that interaction outside of their race diminished or weakened them, believed that interacting with other races, humans, in particular, was the best way to spread the values of the Tel'Quessir races, thereby strengthening their culture.

The sun elves, also sometimes known as gold elves, sometimes as high elves due to their stereotypically elitist ways, and Ar'Tel'Quessir in their language were a subrace of high elves historically rare in Faerûn due to the Retreat, in which the majority abandoned the continent for Evermeet, although during the Era of Upheaval they began returning to the mainland. Haughty and arrogant, sun elves typically felt superior to most other races, including other Tel'Quessir.

As a people, wood elves were largely seen as calm and level-headed. Arousing strong emotions in wood elves was not easily done. However, many did have a strong aversion for large cities, having lost the passion for urbanization after the fall of Earlann. To wood elves, the trappings of civilization, including the mightiest of fortresses or tallest walls, were transient and impermanent things that the long processes of nature would eventually overcome. To many, this attitude seemed condescending, weakening the bonds between wood elves and other races. Additionally, wood elves could sometimes seem off-putting compared to other Tel'Quessir, with a gruff manner that made them less charismatic, despite their avowed compassion and humility

Wild elves were a quiet, withdrawn people who neither liked outsiders nor tolerated any offense to their person. In some ways, wild elves were very savage and were quick to violence if provoked. Few things were more dangerous in the wilderness than a vengeful band of wild elves with ill intent. However, wild elves were not wholly uncouth, and most would rather let trespassers go freely than harm them, so long as they learned nothing that could be used against the tribe; those who did were usually wiped of their memories rather than killed. Wild elves were also trustworthy and loyal friends who, though so slow to trust that short-lived races such as humans were often put off the attempt, would happily reward those who earned their respect and admiration in any way they could.

Drow, also known as dark elves, were a cunning and manipulative race that dwelled deep in the Underdark, shunning the light and despising surface-dwellers. Renowned for their exceptional beauty and grace, drow were also known for their callous and merciless nature, often engaging in brutal acts of subterfuge, assassination, and enslavement to further their own interests.
Drow society was strictly matriarchal, with powerful priestesses ruling over lesser nobles and commoners alike. Despite this, drow were fiercely competitive, and betrayals and power struggles were common within their ranks. Drow were also infamous for their love of torture and sadism, often using it as a means of interrogation or punishment.
Despite their dark reputation, some drow were capable of loyalty and even love, although such emotions were often twisted by their innate malice and paranoia. Drow were also skilled in many forms of magic, particularly those related to illusion and darkness, and were masters of stealth and assassination. Any who dared to cross a drow, be it friend or foe, would quickly learn the folly of their mistake.

Shield dwarves were a cynical and gruff people, but they were not, despite a reputation to the contrary, fatalistic, still possessing some hope for the future. Typically, shield dwarves took time to trust and even longer to forgive, but the dwindling of their race led many to be more open to other ways of thinking. Shield dwarven attitudes were formerly typically divided between the Hidden and the Wanderers, two separate schools of thought amongst the race, though since the Thunder Blessing, this separation began to erode. Like the gold dwarves, the Hidden believed it best to take an isolationist policy towards other races, fortifying their mountain homes and continuing their ancient ways. At the same time, the Wanderers were more adventurous, seeking their fortunes on the surface.

Gold dwarves were both materialistic and ritualistic, valuing themselves and others by what they possessed and by the reputation of their family. Gold dwarves were deeply conservative, rooting their values and beliefs in traditions that have survived for millennia even as the world changed around them. From infancy, gold dwarves were taught that their life was determined by rule, from their profession to who they should marry. Gold dwarves who lacked faith in the old ways or went so far as to challenge cultural taboos were seen as dangerous deviants unworthy of friendship or trust by the majority of gold dwarves, creating an enormous social pressure to conform.

Duergar, also known as gray dwarves, were a reclusive and mistrustful race that lived deep beneath the earth in the Underdark. Unlike their surface-dwelling cousins, duergar were stunted and gaunt, their skin gray and their eyes red. They were renowned for their skill in metalworking and were often sought after as smiths, but their true strength lay in their ability to harness psionic power.
Duergar society was highly hierarchical, with powerful clan leaders ruling over their subjects with an iron fist. Duergar were also highly secretive and mistrustful of outsiders, and would go to great lengths to protect their secrets and avoid contact with other races. They were capable
of great cunning and deception, and were notorious for their use of traps and ambushes.Despite their cautious nature, duergar were not without a sense of honor, and those who proved themselves to be trustworthy and capable were sometimes allowed into their inner circle. Duergar were also fiercely loyal to their clan and would do anything to protect their own. However, those who crossed them or threatened their interests would quickly find themselves facing the wrath of the duergar.

Rock gnomes were a curious, childlike race very much unlike their cousins, the svirfneblin (or deep gnomes) and the forest gnomes. When most people thought of gnomes, they thought of the rock gnome. Rock gnomes embodied the characteristics of their creator and patron deity, Garl Glittergold, choosing to spend their long lives by filling each day with as much fun and enjoyment as possible.

Forest gnomes are among the least commonly seen gnomes on Toril, far shier than even their deep gnome cousins. Small and reclusive, forest gnomes are so unknown to most non-gnomes that they have repeatedly been "discovered" by wandering outsiders who happen into their villages. Timid to an extreme, forest gnomes seldom leave their hidden homes.

Lightfoots were among the most generous and good-natured halflings. They were typically curious about others and very open to sharing about themselves. Altogether these aspects of their personalities kindled fast courtships and friendships with others. These were often brief, for most lightfoots innately felt a sense of wanderlust that compelled them to not stay in one place for too long. Though lightfoots were very loyal and such relationships were genuine, some felt how they so deftly parted ways made those friendships disingenuous.

There was very little that could upset most stronghearts or corrupt them. Their outlook on life stressed cooperation above all else, with one's skill in teamwork being among the most valued of behaviors in their lands. Some races stereotyped them as fat or lazy due to their sedentary nature and love of fine food. However, they were patient as well as very industrious. They put great emphasis on quality.

Tieflings have a tendency to be solitary loners. They are adaptable and resilient to hardship, and possess strong aptitude at whatever pursuit they dedicate themselves to, whether that be fighting, art, or anything else. Their solitary, driven nature makes tieflings well suited as adventurers, wanderers, and researchers of magical lore. They are widely stereotyped as wicked, cruel, and criminal individuals. While many live up to this image, tieflings run the full range of good and evil, and vary considerably based on their bloodline and on an individual level.

Aasimar closely resemble humans or half-elves. They are usually tall, handsome, and well-liked. Some possess unique traits such as silvery hair or golden eyes that reveal their divine heritage. They are rare, and have no societies of their own. Instead, they live among other cultures and follow the traditions and practices of their hosts. They fit in best in upright, law-abiding cultures, where their strong moral instincts make them a boon to society rather a nuisance.
