Important: It is strictly prohibited to engage in property theft or destruction during off-hours when few players are online, assuming it is an opportune time to evade detection.
While it may seem tempting to commit crimes during off-hours to avoid getting caught, it is not acceptable to exploit low player activity for illegal actions.
Even if you don't see many people around, towns are considered home by many. For example, vandalizing furniture in a central keep would still be noticed, even if no one else is online.
If you plan to steal or destroy someone else's property or anything considered community property, you must notify a Dungeon Master (DM) first. They will inform the area's residents, typically through Discord or another communication method.
Just as you’d want a chance to intervene if someone damaged your belongings while you were offline, you need to offer the same courtesy to others.
In the case that your character might want to steal, or sabotage, please first reach out in the DM Channel. If there’s no response, you can use the #ooc-nudge channel on Discord to contact a DM.
It's important to note that informing the DM team after committing the act, without giving characters or NPCs a chance to discover the damage or theft, is not acceptable! Always notify the team and get approval before engaging in any property destruction or theft that could reasonably be noticed by others.
